The Attorney Case File is a
forms-based case management system covering
the major aspects of law office procedures.
The system can be used in
either softcopy or hardcopy formats.
You can either fill in your information on
the computer and save it as its own file, or
you can print the forms out to be filled in
by hand.
In simplest terms, The
Attorney Case File is the legal profession's
version of a "personal information
management system" such as a Day-Timer® or Day-Runner®. The big difference is
that we
not only allow you the choice of hardcopy or
softcopy use, but we give you over 175 pages
of case management forms on
CD so you can make "refills" and use the
system forever and ever for one single
purchase price*.
Better yet, there are NO station fees, user
fees, subscription fees, or anything else
above and beyond the basic price (except for
shipping or tax in the state of GA).
To facilitate the system's
flow and help with case organization, we've
divided the full system into three
components: The Case / Client
Workbook, the Investigation Workbook, and

The Case /
Client Workbook
This is the heart of your
system and this is the first of the three
components that will more than likely pay
for this entire package the first time you
use it. It starts with client intake
and covers billable hours, case
development, background on the opposition,
legal research, calendaring, and even
prompts for the proper clerical steps
necessary during the the case.
The
Investigation Workbook
Many cases require some level
of investigation whether the case is headed
for court or not. If you have in-house
staff that conducts most of your
investigative work, this section provides
them a comprehensive and highly detailed
investigation in a fill-in-the-blank format.
Conversely, if you bring in an outside
investigator, this tool allows you to set
specific parameters for the work they are to
perform for you, which saves you time and
money. Better yet, the quality
appearance of our documents helps to enhance
the professional image of those representing
your office in public.
The Trial
Notebook
Not all cases wind up in
court. However, if yours does,
regardless if it's a simple hearing or a
full trial by jury, the Trial Notebook will
help you organize all pertinent details
including discovery briefs, impeachment
briefs, motions, jury selection notes,
daily court journal, and evidence and
witness presentation notes and scheduling.
A detailed general
instruction set will walk you through a
description of each component, instructions
on filling out each of the forms and
sections, and a "walk through" of the
overall process of using this system.
Also, since this system utilizes your own
wordprocessor program, there is no
additional software education or "tutorial"
necessary.
